controller for the data processed through this website (downforce.be). DownForce is a trade

applies there. This policy covers this website only.
2. This website sets no cookies
We set no cookies and we do not track visitors. There are no marketing cookies, no advertising
tags and no profiles. That is why you will find no cookie banner and no consent window on this
site: there is nothing to accept or refuse.
For visitor statistics we use Plausible Analytics. It measures in aggregate how much traffic a
page receives, without cookies and without recognising individual visitors.
3. Which data we process
- Technical data: minimal server data needed to deliver and secure the site,
such as the IP address in log files.
- Statistics without cookies: aggregated page views, referrer and device type,
without any visitor being identifiable.
- Contact form: when you use the contact form on this site, we process your
name, your e-mail address and the message you write. You decide what goes into that message.
If the form is not on the page, you reach us by e-mail or telephone and we process only what
you send us in that message.
- CV request: if you request the CV, we process your name, your e-mail address
and, if you fill it in, your organisation. We use those details to know who is requesting the
CV and to be able to reach you. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising.
4. Purpose and legal basis
- Answering and following up on your message: necessary for the steps you
yourself request before a possible agreement, and our legitimate interest in responding to
business enquiries.
- Operation and security of the website: legitimate interest.
- Cookieless statistics: legitimate interest. No personal profiles are built.
5. Who processes data for us
We share no data with third parties for their own purposes. We use the following parties to
make the site work:
- Railway (US): hosting of the website.
- Cloudflare: DNS and network services.
- Plausible Analytics (EU): cookieless statistics.
- Formspree (US): delivery of messages from the contact form and from the CV
request, and only when you use one of those forms.
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com): the typefaces of
this site are fetched from Google when a page loads. Your IP address is passed to Google in
the process.
Insofar as processing takes place outside the European Economic Area, it relies on appropriate
safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where
applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long we keep data

Contact messages and CV requests: up to two years after the last contact, or longer if an
agreement follows or a legal obligation requires it.

Technical log files: briefly, and only for as long as needed for operation and security.
- Statistics: aggregated, without data traceable to you.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data, and the
right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to
[email protected]. We answer within the periods set by
the GDPR. Complaints can be addressed to the Belgian Data Protection Authority,

8. No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects for you takes place through this

9. Data within assignments
Where Ramirez processes personal data on behalf of a client, for instance in a DownForce
assignment on client data, the client is the controller and Ramirez the processor. That
relationship is governed by the
data processing agreement
of Ramirez BV, not by this policy.
